Marvin Windows and Le Corbusier Mural Side-by-Side in Interiors Magazine

In an article titled “The Art of Conservation,” Interiors Magazine profiles a 1754 cottage, now turned home, that was once a hub for midcentury artists in the Hamptons area. The home, among other artwork, features a two-wall mural painted in 1950 by midcentury architect and designer Le Corbusier.

There were many challenges that came along with restoring this home while keeping its history intact, and the article notes that updates for sustainability included “replacing the original hand-blown glass with double-paned Marvin windows designed to mimic the originals.”
