Live Better Now

House Beautiful featured the publication’s Whole Home Project, built on the principle that a well-designed house, customized for the specific needs of those living there, can greatly improve overall health and well-being. Located in Connecticut, the home contains everything the owners need, from a fitness area in place of an unnecessary formal dining room to a built-in “grow room” in the kitchen for year-round access to fresh herbs. There is even a secret kids’ playroom in an upstairs loft. The home is complete with Marvin windows and a bi-fold door that connects the interior to the covered porch.
