Collaboration WinsBy Marvin
Fargo Inc! Business Magazine featured the United Way of Cass-Clay (Fargo, ND) in its Cultivating Culture series. The United Way teamed up with M State and CAPLP to develop a program aimed to support low-income individuals needing help getting into the workforce. Some of the skills the program helps strengthen include job-specific training and interviewing.
One candidate in the program, James, completed his 8-week training program with perfect attendance and afterwards met Marvin human resources representative Dacia Meckle during an interview event. She knew he was the perfect fit for the company. He now works on the production floor, assembling and packaging windows. “We are grateful to have James a part of the team,” Meckle said.
