Intern - Drafting

The Process Support Drafting Intern assists in designing, developing, and documenting new and existing jigs, fixtures, machines and processes.
•Design, develop, and test new jigs/fixtures to address safety and quality concerns.
•Develop bill of materials and procure material to build jigs.
•Provide training to production lines for new jigs, fixtures and processes.
•Assist line engineers with daily process support.
•Assist line engineers with Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) updates.
•Maintain drawing accuracy of jigs/fixtures.
Education, Training and Experience:
•Enrolled in an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree program in Drafting, 3D Technologies, Engineering or related field
•Knowledge and use of variety of hand and power tools required
•Demonstrated, strong oral and written communication skills a must
•Experience with Microsoft, 2D and 3D modeling preferred
•Experience with Mechanical Design and Fabrication a plus
