Position Overview

Responsible and accountable for development and implementation of multi-channel marketing communications campaigns, key initiatives, and projects. Drives projects forward by leading execution of marketing deliverables through strategic project planning, efficient project management, and proactive problem solving and communication. Ensures that all projects align with business objectives, are on-brand, and completed within defined budgets and deadlines.
 
Essential Job Functions
 Planning and Strategy (30% time allocation)
• Develop integrated multi-channel marketing plans in alignment with marketing strategies that include: clear definition of audience based on VOC and marketing insights; objectives aligned with marketing strategies; and defined measures of success and project goals
• Develop multi-channel project work plans that enable productive and efficient implementation including defined deliverables, appropriate budget and timing aligned with scope, identified appropriate stakeholders, and approval process
 
 Project Management Leadership (25% time allocation)
• Lead cross-functional team(s) in the implementation and execution of marketing projects, fostering collaboration and partnership through-out the process with partners such as: channel marketing; sales team; product planning; trade show and display team; agencies
• Independently troubleshoot solutions should a project fall off plan, demonstrating a solution-oriented approach to problem solving
• Employ excellent communication skills to efficiently expedite work including: initiating and facilitating discussions; communicating proactively and with a bias toward collaboration and efficient action
 Brand Management (25% time allocation)
• Act as a brand advocate, ensuring that all marketing materials reflect Marvin brand values and meet established brand standards
• Continually work to advance the brand through high-quality deliverables
 
 Drive for Results (20% time allocation)
• Demonstrate excellence in project management skills including: on time completion; diligent budget management; efficient and proactive solicitation of input and approvals
• Responsible for integrated planning across deliverables within a campaign resulting in efficient asset and content management and consistent messaging
• Proactively solicit feedback and measurement of projects, evaluate success, provide analysis, and work to optimize current work and evolve future marketing plans
• Participate in the on-going improvement of project management processes to improve marketing productivity

Education / Experience
• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in marketing
• 5 to 6 years work experience in marketing communications or advertising and project management
• Demonstrated experience organizing information, thinking critically, communicating effectively, and working as part of a team
• Ability to provide in-depth marketing expertise
• Basic understanding of complex business principles
• Experience working with outside vendors to complete projects and achieve objectives
• Additional consideration will be given to individuals who, in addition to the above, have construction industry or related experience
