Position Overview:
 
The Talent Development Program Manager plays a key role in developing and implementing Talent Development programs to support the ongoing growth of Marvin. This role supports the Organizational Development Manager in building and cultivating a talent pipeline that aligns with Marvin’s values and drives business results.
 
Essential Job Functions:
 
• Design, develop and deploy the company’s onboarding, professional development and leadership development programs
• Partner with Talent Acquisition recruiting external pipeline for developmental rotational programs
• Own key programs within development strategy targeted to individual contributors and high performing manager programs including evolution to best in class programs, facilitation and logistics
• Program support for development programs targeted to high potential managers and above
• Conduct skills, personality and career assessments and assist employees in developing internal career pathing plans
• Maintain catalog of existing content and improve the learning experience for employees across all levels with ongoing enhancements and updates
• Develop new content, courses, programs and create learning tools and resources to support on-the-job learning
• Storyboard and program eLearning and video lessons
• Host and facilitate training programs, classes, sessions, etc. both online and in person
• Coordinate training logistics and details behind learning programs and classes including (but not limited to) tracking training completion, monitoring assignments, following up with participants, and coordinating travel arrangements
• Coach “up and coming” talent if/as needed one-on-one and/or in groups
• Build relationships with Marvin leaders to maximize influence of talent-related activities
• Recommend strategy, programs and initiatives that will improve the internal talent pipeline
• Measure and evaluate the success of learning and talent programs, classes, courses and initiatives and focus on continuous improvement
• Adopt a human-centered design approach in development of programs and solutions, ensuring positive employee and stakeholder experience
• Other duties as assigned

• Proven organizational, project management, and problem-solving abilities 
• Very strong interpersonal and collaboration skills; ability to influence various stakeholder audiences
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of HR data and information; strong sense of integrity and judgment
• Critical-thinking and analytical skills focused on proposing business solutions & driving process improvement
• Willingness to travel up to 50% to Marvin locations

Education / Experience:
 
• 3+ years demonstrated experience developing and implementing HR programs focused on talent development processes including leadership development
• Bachelor’s degree in business, human resources, organizational development, or related field; Master’s Degree graduate degree preferred
